The Kimberley Quest crew have a wealth of knowledge and are there to share their amazing insights of the Kimberley region with you. They are experienced in their roles, friendly and most importantly, passionate about the Kimberley's deep history, culture and ecology.

From ensuring you have everything you require on and off the boat, to helping you land a huge fish, our crew take great pride and pleasure in making your cruise experience last in your memory for a lifetime!

Working with a dynamic team.

Your favourite activity and why?

Exploring the Kimberley with my family. I love our beautiful region; the stunning gorges, waterfalls, flora, fauna, monsoonal weather, sunsets and so much more!

What is your favourite icon in the Kimberley?

Prince Regent River.

Your favourite time of the year and why?

May - the Kimberley is lush and green, the waterfalls are thundering following on from the wet season, the humidity is easing but you still get a hint of the monsoonal season with spectacular sunsets. The country feels alive!

Your favourite meal on board?

Duck Curry and fresh barramundi caught the same day.

What are your favourite hobbies to do when you are on your time off?

Camping, birdwatching, beach combing, yoga, hanging out with my kids.

Seeing our passengers' smiles, and hearing their stories when they return from their KQII adventures.

Administration and guest liaison.

How would you describe yourself?

Friendly and easy-going.

Ensuring guests have everything they need for their cruise.

What is your favourite aspect of your job?

Picking up our guests as they disembark and seeing the smiles and joy that comes from experiencing the Kimberley on KQII.

Your favourite activity and why?

Swimming, fishing and watching the stars at night. Nothing quite like it anywhere else in the world.

What is your favourite icon in the Kimberley?

Too many spectacular icons to choose from. I love being surrounded by the soaring red cliffs and soaking in that magical Kimberley essence that is like nowhere else on earth.

Your favourite time of the year and why?

Every season of the Kimberley is a completely different experience. From the lovely blue skies and warm days in the dry season, to the playful Humpback Whales frolicking around the boat during their annual migration and there is nothing like experiencing the monsoonal rains during the wet season and the thundering waterfalls.

Couldn't possibly pick a favourite. The food is amazing but I'm always excited when a fresh catch of fish or mud crabs come onboard

What are your favourite hobbies to do when you are on your time off?

Going to the beach, swimming, fishing, riding and being surrounded by nature.

Senior guide / environmental consultant / amateur historian.

Interpreting Kimberley landscape, flora, fauna and Aboriginal culture. Training crew.

Sharing knowledge with our eager guests.

Exploring and finding new rock art or undiscovered places and plants.

Hunter River - Magnificent scenery, mountains, rainforest and mangroves with great wildlife.

March - April, when the waterfalls are spectacular and the country is lush and green.

Chilli Mud Crab.

Camping and bush walking, growing desert roses, travelling overseas, walking dogs on the beach.

Sheep island excursion - the story of Sheep Island is a reminder of how difficult the landscape is to inhabit.

Cruising the many rivers, fishing; and the many historic walks.

Fishing - nothing better than wetting a line and pulling in a big one.

King Cascade Waterfalls.

End of the wet because all the waterfalls are flowing.

Fabulous.

Describe your role in 10 words or less:

Clean, chat, try to make the guests feel at home.

What is your favourite aspect of your job?

Being surrounded by untouched nature. Being able to look to an unspoilt horizon every day. Respite from the real world.

Your favourite activity and why?

I feel privileged to climb waterfalls and look at Indigenous art. This is such a special and unique space and is a time capsule of rich, ancient Australian history.

Filmmaking, chipping away at art projects. Reading a book in the sun.

My favourite aspect of my job is assisting the guests during excursions.

My favourite activity is hiking up the gorges to waterholes and waterfalls.

My favourite icon in the Kimberley is the King George River.

My favourite time of year in the Kimberley would have to be at the start of our season, just after the wet.

During my time off, I enjoy travelling and surfing the northwest of WA.
